Oh us? We're not the subject of most of our photos, but since you asked
We're one of those lucky pairs who can actually stand to work together - strangely, we even enjoy working together. So it's fortunate we've found a way to marry our divergent photographic backgrounds into quirky, yet holistic, projects. If one of us is mesmerized by the details, the other is taking in the entire scene using a fish-eye lens.
Tim studied at the Hallmark Institute of Photography (totally unrelated to the greeting card company) in Massachusetts and has carried a camera with him ever since. For his day job, he acts as a photographer at Indiana University, Indianapolis, which sees him capturing events, group photos and portraits, as well as product and specialty macro shots. For fun, he spends a lot of time shooting various nightscapes, exploring the strange colors, shapes and shadows that reveal themselves only in the patient presence of a super long exposure-this, of course, when he's not busy in the vegetable garden or perfecting his home-brewed beer and wine.
Natalie has been passionate about photography since a fortuitous trip to Kenya long ago, but her degrees are in Creative Writing and Philanthropic Studies. While her day job and volunteer work involve nonprofit administration, much of her free time is spent reveling in photography projects-both for fun and for hire. She finds great joy in reliving beautiful moments and places through images, recognizing that vivid pictures help nurture richer memories. She is a born wanderluster and nature-lover, and both these traits are reflected in her photographic work, including her strangely compulsive series on dead insects. When she's not jetting around, she runs, enjoys local art shows, and occasionally still writes poetry.
Sidley, a Rottweiler-CattleDog mix (8 yrs), catches attention with his mis-matched eyes. He's handsome and dangerously brilliant-sometimes we worry he could run this business without us-but he's just about as lazy as they come.
Mo, an American Pit Bull Terrier rescue (2 yrs), is a loveable clown and a heart-breaker-everyone who meets him falls in love. His main tasks are entertainment and lap-warming (yes, but he doesn't know he's 73lbs) and giving Sidley his daily exercise.
